Wire fairy crowns
Fairy wreath crown tutorial
Things you will need:

I usually make crowns from 0,40 mm wire and some beads, that can be different sizes. It is very nice to use the same wire colour as the beads are, but this is just a suggestion:)
1. Step
Your first step is to cut a piece of the wire with the pincers. For 7" fairy about 20 inches will do just fine.
2. Step
Now you have the desired piece of the wire. Take one bead and place it on the wire, something like this.

Make sure the bead stays approximatly 2 inches from one side and the rest to the other side. You'll need those two inches at the end.
3. Step
Bend the wire across the bead then twist for about 1/2 inch or less.

4. Step
Take another bead and repeat the third step. If you leave some space between the two twisted ends, your crown will be less cramed and you'll need less beads to make the whole crown. It is up to you.

Just repeat steps from 2 to 4 as long as your crown is big enough to fit your fairy's head.

After doing it a while, you should get something like this (upper right picture). You can allready use it on your fairy; just put the rest of the wire end under your fairy's hair and twist the ends together so they fit fairy's head tightly. Something like this.

Or you can continue doing steps from 2 to 4 and get something like this in the end.

Measure you fairy while doing the crown, so it doesn't get to big or you don't finish too early. When it is big enough, just twist the ends together and bend around the crown so it doesn't stick out. It should look something like this when you do it.

Congrats, you're done!
King's fairy crown
Things you will need:

For this tipe of crown youl need two different pincers, again some 0,40mm wire (oh yes that is about 0,15 inches) and some bigger beads.
1. Step
For a 7" fairy you'll need two pieces of wire; first one should be about 15 inches long and the second one about 32 inches long. But do not worrie, if you cut the second one too short, you can allways replace it with a new one:) That is exactly what happened to me while making this tutorial, you'll see:)
2. Step
Take the shorter piece of the wire and bend it in half then twist, like this. Help yourself with the pincers, it's a lot easier, believe me.

3. Step
Measure you fairy's head and add about 3 inches then cut the rest off. Now take the longer piece and twist it around the first one. Mkae sure you start twisting it about 1.5 inches from one end! You'll need that end for completing your work.

4. Step
Take a bead and place it one the thinner wire. Decide how high from the lover wire you want the bead to be then bend the wire around the bead and twist, like this.

After twisting the thinner wire together (utill you reach the lover wire), bend the wire around the lover one one to two times to leave the bead in place.
Take another bead and repeat the process.

I allways twist the wire in different hights, as you can see in the picture above. And also twist the middle wire the highest and try to do both sides even, it looks pretier like this. Again just a suggestion.
Well, I talked about not cutting off enough wire before. Here is what you should do if it happens.
Bend the end of the wire a few time tightly around the lover wire and at the same place then bend the new one around, like this.

After that just repeat the step 4 again and again.
You should end up like this.

So, now you need those lose ends. Put the crown on the fairy's head and twist them tightly around her head. You can put them below her hair or not, as you wish. Just like in the first crown tut, you can decide to bead it all around. Just remember to leave those ends in order to complete the crown.
You're done it again!
Use your imagination with materials and colours and you should have great results.
Hope you enjoyed it! Have fun making your crowns!
